Description
The adjustable toe post relieves pressure on the toes and can be positioned to the side in the treatment of malleolus and lateral ulcers. The rotator bar positioned to the side, controls Hip Orthoses and leg rotation, providing functional alignment.
The Transfer Attachment provided for most sizes is for stand-up transfer and prevents cross-contamination from floor to bed. Bilateral Multi Podus® Systems with a spreader bar provides 35° of controlled Hip Orthoses abduction.
The Original Multi Podus® Orthosis is also available with the following modifications: Multi Podus® Short Back 90° – This Short Back version has a short calf area and it does not have the rotator bar. This MPO® can be used for patients with severe knee contractures. Available in sizes small, medium, large & extra-large
Multi Podus® Modified 25 is pre-molded at 25° plantar flexion. Dynamically treats foot and ankle contractures over 25°. It does not have a transfer attachment and is available in sizes medium & large.
